As bloggers, we all need to keep up with search engine optimization techniques, but it isn't an easy task. And it really doesn't help, that when you get right down to it, it's mostly based on a complicated series of algorithms employed by the search engines. What we all need is some plain, easy to understand advice on how to please the search engine gods without having our heads explode while we struggle to grasp the math. That's where SEO Blogging Tips comes in, the mission of this blog's author is to help us all create blogs that are SEO friendly. It doesn't hurt that the the blog is also just plain beautiful and professional looking.
Beautiful and informative as this blog is, there are still things that need to be addressed. So I have some constructive criticism for the author on how to bring his blog closer to fufulling its potential. You should check it out, because blog reviews are a great way for you to find out if your blog is up to par with the recommendations I will be sharing here.

First off let me tell you what I like about this blog. I love the layout, it's just plain gorgeous, very modern looking - bright, clean and inviting. It has a news feed style on the landing page that is becoming increasingly popular. Blue is considered the color of "professionalism", another good example of color psychology applied to a blog template design. The clever use of gradient blends in the header graphic add a feeling of light playing over the topmost area of the layout. I also find the clever tab style headers in the sidebar to be not only attractive, but very effective at highlightime the text. Kudos to the designer at Elegant Themes, and the publisher's good taste.
The navigation is visible and accessible at the top right side of the page, helping readers to find what they're looking for quickly and easily. However, I don't see a contact link and I firmly believe that you should always make yourself available to your readers in as many ways as possible.
The right-hand column has a number of different sections, but I would be happier if the components were arranged in a more reader-friendly order. I'm not saying that displaying your Twitter feed is a bad idea, but it should not take precedent over things that are more important to your readers, such as your blog's categories, archives and recent posts. I noticed that there is a bar just below the header area that seems to be designed to display categories in a very prevelant way, it might be a good idea to implement this feature since there is only on sidebar and this could free up the sidebar for better organization.
I am also concerned that there is no obvious way to subscribe to the feed for this blog other than from the address bar. Not all readers will bother if they don't see it on the page, they need to have the option presented in a more noticeable manner, it needs to be strongly suggest to them. And you do want people to subscribe and become regular visitors and supporters of your blog.
All in all, SEO Blogging Tips is a beautiful and informative online publication, one worth visiting. I am sure the author will continue to work at shaping his blog into one that will realize it's full potential and continue cater to his readers needs.
